They can be washed by hand or in the washing machine (if you are going to machine wash them, please be sure to remove the fabric bow ribbon before doing so to avoid it getting damaged – it can be re-tied on after they are washed and dried).     I’d been wanting shoe trees for a while and just hadn’t gotten around to buying anything. I liked these because I liked the concept of them: cute fabric, not plastic, and so on. They arrived in two days and were as advertised. The boots I am using them in are tall boots, so the shoe trees don’t stick out the top as in the pictures. However, they work the way they are supposed to work, and I like them.
